The Pastoral Care (Discipleship) Department is directed by Dr. Wojciech Kowalewski, an EST graduate. The goal of mentoring and discipling the students is to offer personal counseling, spiritual and ministry guidance, and prayer. Faculty members and school staff serve as mentors for one or more students. Another role of this department is to give oversight to the students who are required to do a practicum in ministry that engages them in a wide variety of Christian service. In this way they begin to identify their spiritual gifts and discover, sometimes to their own surprise, a calling to certain ministries.
